Find Recreational Property On The Internet
People who own and use recreational property in the mountains, deserts, and forests of Utah have in their possession rare jewels of landscape crafted by and on loan from Mother Nature. Think about it. You really can't put a premium on Utah's pieces of paradise. Our natural heritage is world-class, divinely designed-and-built real estate and architecture infinitely superior to the upper story penthouses selling for millions in downtown Tokyo and New York City. Yet you don't need millions to own a cabin in the woods. Somehow our society took a wrong turn somewhere aesthetically and certain things have been pulled inside-out, flipped upside down, so that a paper-mached cage of glass and cement hovering in clouds of poison vapor and smog are beyond the financial reach of 99.9% of humanity, while a simple dwelling up in the aspens and pure mountain air is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of regular drones, simple, working-class people like you and me. Strange, isnt it? Dam good thing, too. Some good deals can still be found in recreational property in Utah and the Intermountain Region, but it takes a little time and effort to find them. A good place to start is the World Wide Web. There are hundreds of sites dedicated to helping people find and purchase real estate, and many more that offer cabin kits, tips on building, and so forth. We will rapidly build this site into a source for comprehensive information about recreational real estate in Utah. It will include listings of properties for sale, organized by region, plus articles with how-to and background information. Another good site for property listings is the online classified sections of the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune. Go to www.deseretnews.com or www.sltrib.com and then click on classifieds. Navigate your way into the recreational property section and youll be able to look at several days worth of classifieds. Be sure to check out the most recent Sunday listing, because that's when most recreational property listings appear. Newspapers in rural communities often run classified ads listing recreational property for sale. Sometimes you dont find the properties lumped together in a single category you have to hunt to find them. We provide a list of Utah newspapers below. If you see a sign or ad for property, try to find a website that gives specific information about that property. For example, if you drive east from Strawberry toward Duchesne you see signs offering lots for sale at Bandanna Ranch. Do a Google search on Bandanna Ranch and it will give you the developers website: www.bandannaranch.com. You can also search on the names of brokers and real estate agents, which are often given on for-sale signs. This website serves as a search engine of sorts for property, and it always has some listings for Utah: www.uran.net/Eagle/utah.html
