Cris and Trevor Draper and Phil Newman are in studio. Phil brought in some incredible Dutch oven bread and pie for us to eat and we talk about how easy it is to cook in cast iron. And do you Eat Organic? We open the second hour chatting with Paul Aldous of Eat Organic Apparel and have some fun. Eat Organic means just that, what is more organic than an elk, deer, turkey, etc...? What started as a little ribbing and joking into a company locally here in Salt Lake City, Utah, these are a great product to say, Hey I Do Eat Organic foods and tease those who say hunters shouldn't hunt. Cris and Shelly Draper have been trying to locate the herd of mustangs on the Simpson Springs/Pony Express Trail and we found them this week. They face some serious challenges to protect this piece of our history and heritage. When do we draw a line between multi use BLM grazing areas and the non sustainable resources and history. We talk about just getting outdoors, no matter what it is from wildlife watch the mustangs in the West Desert, going for hike, fishing or hunting, get outdoors. Scott Davis calls in from the Field Trials going on this weekend and we look at the growing sport of getting your dog out and putting a few bird in the air. And we wrap up the show with our Cabelas Fishing Report to let you know where towet a hook this week with Lance Egan of the Lehi Cabelas store.

Cris and Trevor Draper in studio. We are going to go in-depth on an issue with Antelope Island State Park and a just defeated Bill that would have allowed hunting for mule deer and big horn sheep. This is an issue that just keeps coming up when budget cuts come around with Legislation and budgeting isues. Are we ready to start selling off our State or National Parks to the highest bidders? But we start out checking in with Craig Gordon, Utah Avalanche Center check in and gives us a avalanche report. Ann Evans with Utah State Parks calls in with a snowmobile grooming report to let you know where the best places to ride are! We have a full panel this and next week lined up to talk over the entire topic. Don Peay with Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife joins us to clear up some of the misconceptions floating around and talk about how bad many of the Government funding issues are affecting us all. From the hunting on Antelope Island to feeding the wild mustangs, and dealing with the wolf issue. We are going broke and this needs to change. And we wrap up the first hour talking with Tom Bean of the Lehi Cabelas about the Spring Fin and Feathers Adventure Giveaway and speical events and offers at the store this weekend only!

2nd Hour Podcast for March 6, 2010 Trail Master Outdoors Radio Show

Cris and Trevor Draper along with Jayson Toerck in studio this week. We start out the second hour of the show with a continuation of a set of segments we have lined up over the next few weeks, on the recently defeated Bill that would have allowed hunting for mule deer and big horn sheep on Antelope Island with some of our personal feelings on the issue. Barbara Riddle, CEO Davis Area Convention and Visitors Bureau calls in and we look at this from her point of view and she is against any hunting at all, even stopping the bison hunts if necessary, rather than allowing hunting on the State Park. Clyde Seely, Three Bear Lodge www.threebearlodge.com calls in from West Yellowstone to talk about the upcoming 2010 Snowmobile Expo coming up March 12 - 14 and how you can go up and for $75.00 per person, double occupancy, TWO nights at the Three Bear Lodge and and get TWO tickets to go the the Expo, which is a $15.00 per ticket value too! Call 800 646-7353 and mention Trail Master Outdoors Radio and get this and more special offers! Want to stay longer? Clyde has more options with deep end of season discounts on snowmobiling outside the Park still too. And Judge Julie Mogenis from Huntin' with "The Judge" TV Show calls in from Texas to talk about the devastating problems they had with their big horn sheep population back in the early 1900's and how only now it is just getting to the point even about 15 tags are all that available to hunters, it has taken over 100 years top get their herds back. Enjoy the show and get OUTDOORS!\\
