The Layton, Wild Bird Center Moon Light Bird Walk for Tweet Hearts!Join the Layton, Wild Bird Center, Saturday evening, March 26th at 6 p.m. for this free nature/bird walk that is very special. This walk takes place in the Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area (FBWMA) under the Full Moon while the Tundra Swans are migrating. We leave from the Layton, Wild Bird Center at 6 p.m. Bring your Tweet Heart with you to enjoy the serenade of the Tundra Swans. Phil Douglass, Division of Wildlife Resources, Public Outreach Coordinator will co-lead this trip with Bill Fenimore, DWR Volunteer Naturalist at FBWMA. Parabolic speakers will be available to amplify the sounds of the Tundra Swans and the sounds of the marsh at night. The full moon will make the images of the marsh and the Swans very romantic. Dress for the weather. The Wild Bird Center is located in the Layton Market Center, off I-15 at Exit 335 (across from Barnes & Noble).
